A leading healthcare company, part of a global group, is seeking a motivated and skilled Strategic Buyer to join its Corporate Procurement team in Komárom-Esztergom County, one of its largest manufacturing locations.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and teams across multiple countries, working in an international environment that offers broad exposure within the organization. You will be responsible for driving sourcing projects, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and suppliers. The position reports directly to the local Corporate Procurement Director.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities:

Manage Supplier Relationship Management and sourcing activities for indirect materials and services (mainly production machinery)
Collaborate closely with the Tatabánya site and global teams to optimize spend related to indirect materials, services, and CAPEX
Lead and facilitate supplier negotiations
Run global sourcing projects in various categories (primarily production machinery)
Challenge and develop the supplier base by identifying and qualifying new regional suppliers

Your qualifications and personality:

College or university degree
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in strategic procurement (additional technical or engineering background is an advantage)
Skilled negotiator with strong commercial understanding and the ability to identify sourcing opportunities globally and regionally
Strong analytical mindset and technical insight
Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Capable of working cross-functionally and cross-geographically at all organizational levels
Target-oriented, proactive, precise, and willing to travel
Fluent in spoken and written English
